​Garret has over 25 years of experience in the golf business. He began as owner and operator of Masters Golf Company, a successful golf club repair shop that serviced pro shops throughout the Northwest.

He then helped develop and manage Evergreen Driving Range in Vancouver, Washington. This led to his career as a Golf Professional. Teaching and club fitting became his areas of focus while continuing to provide quality club repairs.

In 1999, Garret became a Golfing Machine authorized instructor to further enhance his teaching abilities.​​
